We have both Windows and Linux Servers and require the candidate have some experience with both.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Repair, and Upgrades to our Computer and Network Equipment
- Optimize systems to improve security, stability, and performance
- Make recommendations for upgrades and patches
- Design and implement tools and scripts to automate and enhance the capabilities of our technical team
- Server, desktop, printer, router, firewall, source control, distributed build system administration
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in a tech field + 4 years systems administration experience with Windows and Linux servers
- Experience with Hyper-V, VMWare, etc
- Proven ability to write complex scripts with Python or similar language
- Experience with Cisco Hardware
- A pro-active, team-centric attitude and communication style
- Ability to effectively contribute ideas for improvement
- Natural ability to organize and prioritize time and projects effectively
