Qualifications

• Significant experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development
• Proficiency in at least one of these disciplines:
• Internals of distributed Operating System (Unix/Linux, Windows, Z/OS)
• Systems programming
• Network programming
• Experience using large scale software development in one of these languages: JavaScript, Python and PowerShell
• Experience using system and software security and entitlements such as SSO, windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD
• Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication
• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
• Experience with new and emerging technologies such as cloud and virtualization
• Experience using VMware vSphere Technologies, deployed in large environments
• Experience of VMware vRO workflows or similar infrastructure orchestration tools
• Experience of using REST APIs to enable systems integration
