AssetWorks is looking for a Senior Software Implementation Analyst to join our professional services team. The ideal candidate will have professional experience installing enterprise wide software solutions on client sites, has high ability to travel and comes with a relevant degree/ training background.Job Description:
The successful candidate will be a talented and motivated individual with a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of four years of experience in business analysis/intelligence, quality assurance, customer support or related role(s); comprehensive knowledge of Business Objects Crystal Reports; working knowledge of SQL and scripting; knowledge of various software development methodologies (waterfall, agile, RAD); familiarity with Oracle and MSSQL relational database platforms; asset management experience in the Fleet Management and/or Public Works enterprise asset management industry. The candidate will have the ability to interact positively and effectively in a team environment or independently; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization (C-level to line employee); strong knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience working with at least one of the following:
Local government public works
State infrastructure agencies (like DOT)
Campus infrastructure or facilities organizations
Utilities
Conducts and documents requirements definition.
Creating and delivering ad hoc and routine reports as requested.
Building and supporting custom reports in Business Objects Enterprise.
Maintain database integrity.
Consults with customers related to system setup and configuration.
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
Holds regular status meetings with client project team.
Communicates relevant project information to superiors and other departments (Development, Support, QA, Sales) effectively.
Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
Is able to translate customer requirements into functional/technical specifications for enhancements, interfaces, conversions and reports.
Sets and manages client expectations.
Manages day-to-day client interaction.
Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Ability to travel up to 50-75%
