Summary:
The IT System & Storage Administrator will be in Houston and will report to the Support Team Lead.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of system administrator/support with experience including installation, upgrade, configuration, administration and maintenance on mostly Windows server based systems and storage systems;
- Strong experience with NetApp SAN storage (FAS and E-Series), NFS/CIFS protocols, and NetApp backups solutions;
- VMware ESXi and vCenter administration (from 5.5 to current);
- Veeam backup technologies;
- Active Directory Domain Services administration, including GPO;
- Windows Server Administration (Windows 2008 R2, and above);
- Networking topology global understanding (DMZ, load balancing, firewall, Vlans, etc), will be a plus;
- Centreon monitoring will be a plus;
- Skype for Business will be a plus;
- Exchange Server Administration (Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016) will be a plus;
- Highly responsive, energetic and enthusiastic
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting critical deadlines
- Excellent judgment and attention to details
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Solution and results oriented
- Team player willing and able to help in all areas of IT to contribute to overall group/company success
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily maintenance, administration, and support of 100+ local servers, with users in multiple time zones
- Manage Local projects from beginning to end;
- Manage professional services, and provide documentation;
- Expect duty to expand beyond normal business hours as needed to resolve high-priority user requests
