We are seeking Senior Big Data Engineers who will be responsible for designing and developing complex large scale projects related to the Big Data processing in AWS environments. You will work with application teams to define requirements and recommend new solutions for the various end user applications. The successful candidate will have a very high level of technical expertise related to understanding and leveraging Cloud Resources, as well as programming and orchestrating the deployment of Cloud services.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• Over 5 plus years of AWS experience in a Production Environment in an Enterprise Setup
• Over 5 years experience in creating serverless web application on AWS using Lambda, S3, IAM Policies, EC2s, Route 53 and EMR
• Over 3 to 5 years experience in application development in all layers of the technology stack (Java, Python)
• Over 3 to 5 years of Programming using Scala in Spark environment
• Proven ability to deploy API Gateway/Lambda based services in an automated way utilizing the Serverless Framework and Terraform
• Bachelors Degree in MIS, Computer Science

• Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
• Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies
• Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents
• Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff
