- rt the enterprise and other department initiatives as it relates to researching and identifying technology solutions to meet the business needs Proje
- ct manage department initiatives that involve IT engagement. This would include, but not limited to: meet with other departments in understanding IT needs, estimation and prioritization, leading the group in identifying the minimum viable product, and coordinate environment migrations such as lower environment promotions, production deployment, and assisting in general troubleshooting if issues arise Ident

- y website updates and fixes locally and remotely
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Develop, improve, maintain internal IT management processes
- Manage all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing best practices that include, but not limited to: assist in documenting requirements, Agile/SCRUM, Waterfall, Rapid development and prototyping
- Act as a SCRUM Master and facilitates the sprint planning and boards appropriately
- Provides weekly status reports for all projects to the leadership team
- On occasions, assist in managing backups for Postgres, MySQL, and SQL Servers
- On-call for system outages or failures
- Periodically, assist in Desktop support, when necessary
- Periodically, assist in routine maintenance, updates, and procurement
Requirements
- BS or related field in Computer Science
- 5+ years in project management, business analysis or related discipline
- 2+ years in Agile methodology
- Must know LINUX System Admin or XEN Server
- Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Knowledge in UI/UX fundamentals
- Understanding in installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft server operating systems including Windows Server 2012 and 2016. This would also include Linux OS experience
- Knowledge in supporting desktop applications including Microsoft products, O365, Mac operating systems, hosted file storage, IE, Chrome, and common antivirus applications and desktop
- Knowledge in Powershell, bash scripting, and batch files
- Knowledge and general application of best practices such as ITIL
- Must be organized and be able to lead projects through planning, facilitating, gathering requirements, construction, and to completion
- Ability to communicate effectively with team and management
Microsoft certifications associated with degrees of knowledge is a plus, but not required
