SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) Integration Administrator
This opportunity is for a Hexagon SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) administrator. The position is a key role in Clients deployment of an industry-leading, integrated engineering design environment. The best candidate will have extensive practical experience managing SPF in an integrated process industry environment, along with the ability to technically manage the underlying 3-tiered architecture. Key expectations are to help design, configure and deploy integrated engineering systems globally within Client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and own/operate integrated SPF systems
- Manage and troubleshoot the 3-tier architecture environment
- Provide second-level user support for an integrated Hexagon environment
- Participate in the development of new work processes and product enhancements
Requirements:
- A technical Bachelors Degree is required
- Minimum 2 years experience with system configuration, customization and implementation of Hexagon Smart Plant Foundation, including fluency in EFSchema configuration and management, SPF authoring module, list edit, reporting, and datasheet functionalities
- Minimum 2 years experience implementing integration of 2 or more Hexagon Smart Plant tools: SPPID, SPI, SPEL, and SP3D with SPF
- Deep technical knowledge of multi-tier application environments, including Windows Server, IIS, XML/XSLT technology, and SQL Server
- A minimum requirement for this U.S.- based position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident or qualifying Asylee / Refugee)
Highly Preferred:
- A good working knowledge of process industry engineering design work processes
- Successful completion of the Intergraph-provided SmartPlant Foundation Administrator training courses
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as VB, VBA, C# and .NET
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent presentation and data gathering skills
