Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Conroe
Salary: $90 - 110K
- BS degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years experience developing software applications (10 years desired).
- Minimum 5 years experience with DSP, more desired.
- Extensive experience with C++ (preferably 7+ years).
- Good grounding in object-oriented design.
- Good understanding of software engineering processes.
- Responsibility for software products in a commercial environment.
- Additional Desired Experience
- Experience developing DSP for MWD systems is a strong bonus.
- Facility with C++14 is a bonus.
- Development and implementation of telecommunication DSP algorithms.
- Engineering of desktop software as part of a small team.
- Propose and implement software solutions for new projects and upgrades to existing software.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines, especially the electrical engineering and firmware teams.
- Support field testing of telemetry systems.
- Assist with the gathering of project requirements.
- Estimate task schedules and assess technical risks associated with projects.
- Assist QA with the development of test plans.
- Investigate and fix bugs reported from internal users.
