The Information Systems Security Manager will lead, develop, manage and coordinate the implementation of an information security program for the company across business lines. Will be responsible for the establishment, monitoring and driving improvement activities of the information security program needed to ensure compliance with business and customer requirements. Will champion and support information security awareness, training, and educational activities for the company.

Essential Job Functions:

• Central point of contact within the company dealing with information security and technologies.

• Establishes and maintains strong working relationship with departments and organizations involved with information security.

• Develops policies, principles, and standards required for an effective Information Security Program.

• Capable of administering and fine-tune security operations processes.

• Perform audits and/or represents company when undergoing outside audits of corporate compliance

• Escalates issues to corporate leadership in a timely manner with appropriate information regarding risk, action times and root cause analysis

• Provides consulting (advice, guidance and assistance) to individuals and teams on Information Security risk, to guide the security direction of development projects and departmental initiatives.

• Support business development teams in reviewing/contributing to proposals relative to customer requirements regarding Information Security.

• Capable of integrating information security system across disparate business lines.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in a technical field, OR, 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

• 5 or more years of related experience in Information Security and/or Information Technology to include accountability for complex tasks and/or projects.

• Familiarity/Expertise with ISO27001/ISO27002

• Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to systematically think through the implications of problems to arrive at sound solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skill to document control descriptions and effectively communicate with staff and peers.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• One or more Information Security certifications/training.

• Experience with automation platforms

• Experience with Logging and monitoring systems

• Experience with Intrusion detection and prevention systems

• Experience with Proxy filtering systems

• Experience with Scanning and vulnerability management systems

• Experience with Advanced Malware Protection

• Experience with Threat Intelligence

• Experience with Incident Response methodology in investigations, and the groups behind targeted attacks and tactics, techniques, and procedures

• Incident Management analysis, detection and handling of security events

• Solid understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure designs; including cloud infrastructures, routing, firewalls, host and network intrusion detection systems, encryption, load balancing, Active Directory, DNS and other network protocols
