What you will do...
Our goal is to disrupt the payment industry with our worldwide digital payment platform. To make that happen, we need to develop high-quality products, be super-responsive to our client’s needs, and be very quick in creating a product before our competition does it. This is where agile comes into place, and this is where you enter the picture, too :)
Your mission is to continuously improve things for the company as a whole and the development teams in particular, continually helping us reach new levels in agile, organisation, product and technology
Your “first team” is the Payworks improvement team, currently comprised of the other Scrum Masters, the CTO and HR. You will coach your peers and, at the same time, be supported by your peers.
You take an active part in spreading the agile mindset throughout the Payworks organisation, including the areas beyond of product development like sales and customer support.
To stay connected to the actual work, you’ll also be a Scrum Master to one or two of our development teams, helping them to learn, grow and deliver.
We currently have an experienced external agile coach (who says it’s absolutely awesome to work here) -- You’ll work with him for a while before he leaves.
What we offer...
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of bringing a technically outdated industry to this century’s digital standards
70+ super-skilled colleagues in an organisation that is ever learning and able to quickly act on things that need to change
Great autonomy to the teams to determine the best way to implement features and work together, and it will be your opportunity to significantly shape the whole organisation and your teams
The dynamics and fun of working in a quickly growing start-up, combined with a stable financial outlook backed by a multi-million Euro venture capital investment
Relocation support and allowance; free German classes
Flexible working hours and competitive compensation – including a budget for your personal/professional development
What we are looking for...
You are a genuine agilist, passionately sharing and living the agile mindset
You know your agile toolbox (Scrum, Kanban, retrospective and workshop formats, XP, ...)
You are curious and humble, yet also ambitious – a good listener and also a convincing speaker
You are great in leading and inspiring people, even without an “official mandate”
You love coaching and training others and know what it takes to build great teams
You are a driver for meaningful change, and can do that in a collaborative, constructive and effective manner
You have work experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach
Bonus: You have experience with scaling agile across many teams (“Freestyle”, LeSS, Nexus, etc)
