This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
Proficiency in modern programming languages
Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Experience in design, analysis, development, coding, unit testing, debug and documentation for Java/J2EE systems including Web applications, business services, batch applications, large/complex projects and utilizing Web Services and Java RMI technologies to improve interface/API and significantly enhance integration capability between front-end and back-end systems
Ability to lead the design and build of complex application systems using the new banking architecture including Java/J2EE/Spring/KAFKA/CASSANDRA/Cloud/API Gateway technologies. Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages including Java/J2EE/JSP based Web applications/Middleware and Batch systems
A fundamental understanding of software skills and the different components of SDLC such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement is essential
Experience in a Quality Assurance role with a thorough knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance methodology is a plus. T-Shaped development experience to support an Agile environment. Cloud computing technology experience is beneficial
