We want to grow our team and are now looking for a back-end developer, based in Paris, to be a part of this dream team and deliver awesome features to our industry-leading all-in-one content moderation tool Implio. You will, amongst other things, be writing Scala micro services, covering features that range from encoding/decoding JSON to interfacing with Deep Learning models.

You will be a back-end developer, working on Implio, our SaaS content moderation platform that combines best-in-class automation capabilities (rules, machine learning and computer vision) with a powerful user interface for human moderation and statistics. Learn more at https://implio.com
As a member of our development team, your main focus will be improving and fine tuning Implio, both in terms of code quality and user facing features. You will be working in close collaboration with our developers, product management and Data Science team to come up with the very best solutions.
Together with a bunch of skilled and talented people, in a place where we put a great deal of emphasis on team spirit, you will be sharing knowledge, learning from others and having a lot of fun.

- Develop scalable and elegant micro services
- Learn new technologies and algorithms, and share that knowledge with the rest of the team
- Help improve our platform, in terms of features, scalability and maintainability
- Work in a distributed team and help us address the challenges and opportunities this creates
Who are you?
- Some years of experience in Scala, and a strong interest in what people have come nowadays to associate with FP (referential transparency, immutability...) and powerful type systems
- Have some knowledge in Node.js
- Knowledgeable in system architecture, popular database management systems, and other technologies traditionally used in a microservice based architecture
- Take pleasure in finding elegant solutions to complex problems, and have some background in algorithms, data structures and complexity analysis
- As a person you are collaborative, innovative and eager to learn new things
- Familiar with Agile and Scrum
- Fluent, and comfortable speaking and writing, in English

- Familiar with Git
- Experience with AWS and Docker
