Hi, we're Drawboard. You might remember us from having the number one paid application (Drawboard PDF) on the Windows store, or that Verge article about how we had the best use case for that Microsoft puck/dial thing for the new Surface Studio (which we had 6 months before anyone else).
Well… we have been working on something new and we think it's pretty neat. Its called Bullclip and is a realtime collaborative tool that solves some real world problems facing the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industries, and we want your help to make it shine.
We have interesting problems, unique constraints (exaggerated by the browser) and an extremely technical domain. You will work in a small specialized team that is solely focused on the frontend of the web app, but will have the support of the people in the other teams (Native windows app and iOS app) solving similar problems. They have your back and you are going to learn heaps.
Bullclip is currently a React/Redux application, it's all eventy, and takes a fairly functional approach, but if you can think of a better way to solve the problems we are going to trust that you know what you are doing. You will have a pivotal role in Bullclip's future as well as in the company.
Required Skills
- Experience building and maintaining Single Page Applications
- React/Redux
- Knows the way around the DOM and its events
- A love of hacking and problem solving
- All the obvious basics: html, css, git, tdd
Good-To-Have skills
- Experience with: rxjs, web sockets, web workers
- Experience with linear algebra and matrices
- Experience with evented systems
- Knowledge of functional programming concepts like composition and transduction
