As a Backend Developer, you'll have a massive impact on Ada Support as we continue to grow. You will be integral in building features and improving the foundation of our product, impacting millions of end-users.
Responsibilities
- Build incredible new features for our rapidly maturing AI product
- Rearchitect poorly performing API routes and functions
- Continue to enhance our automated testing tools
- Mentor and coach junior API developers
- Split off functionality into separate services when it makes sense
- Uphold and contribute to our development team's standards
About You
- Strong understanding of REST and experience with API design
- Familiarity with best practices for code in distributed systems
- Async task queues, query optimization, n+1 query avoidance, etc.
- Refined spider sense for spotting problems during code review
- Appreciation for quality and agility, and the wisdom to find the right balance
