FinFolio is a boutique technology company that makes software for professional financial advisers. We are seeking someone who wants to work in fintech; a background in finance would be a plus but is not required. We are seeking long-term employees who will grow with the company over a period of years.
Our development environment uses the Microsoft on the back end (C#, SQL) and React on the front end (Typescript and TSX). You will have interaction with other developers, members of the support team and our founder/CEO who also writes code. You will need strong critical thinking skills and an ability to easily transition between technical discussions and business analysis. Be passionate.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for capable developers with any level of experience from entry-level to senior developers. We'd like you to have some familiarity with the technologies in our stack so that you can be effective as soon as possible.
- Very strong knowledge in C#, SQL
- Strong knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Would be a bonus to know React, Typescript, ASP.NET Web API, Powershell, or WPF
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent in work experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to write code
- Server Administration or Network experience is a plus

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
Please be aware that you will be asked to write code during the interview process. Above all else, we're looking for someone who is able to analyze a problem and write code to solve it.
