Technical Sales Engineer at ZPE Systems (Dallas, TX)

ZPE Systems is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to partner with the sales team to develop and grow business relationships throughout the Western US.  We are looking for someone who is invested in growing a company and is looking for a company who will invest in them.

ZPE has a rich portfolio of products and services. The candidates for this position will need to be able to leverage strong commercial, technical, and industry experience to recognize customer needs and apply the full portfolio of ZPE solutions and services.

The ideal candidate should be extremely driven, customer focused and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships. This candidate will also be engaged in strategic programs to develop and train our reseller base.

Candidates will develop relationships across all aspects of the business including Customers, Vendors, Operations and Internally with global teams within ZPE.

Candidates accepted in this role will have an incentivized package to help develop the business and really become part of the team at ZPE given the ability to deliver results.

Qualifications: 

  • Strong OOB and Networking Background
  • Understanding of Linux and Python
  • Cloud and Automation experience is a plus
  • Experience working with Fortune 1000 companies
  • Exceptional presentation/communication skills,
  • Ability to develop long term relationships focused on customer success
  • Proven success in high performance, high growth environments, with an interest in building and scaling a team

Core Responsibilities:

  • Comfortable delivering high-impact customer presentations that focus on ZPE's capabilities, solutions and value propositions
  • Perform in-depth and technical presentations for customers, partners, and training events

Responsible for leading complex and strategic proof of concepts and product evaluations as the technical lead

Provide guidance on emerging technologies and trends

Travel will be required for customer meetings, partner training, and POCs        

Provide pre-sales/post-sales sales support
