The position:
As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will participate in the design, development, implementation, testing and documentation of large-scale, distributed software applications, systems and services at innovative companies across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:

• Build and maintaining enterprise web applications in Java and Angular or Ember
• Work side-by-side with other talented Engineers in a team-oriented, Agile software engineering environment
• Own delivery of features from top to bottom, from concept to code to production
• Create awesome user experiences with Angular and other frameworks
• Develop and share best practices around development, testing, source control, and deployment
• Continue to develop and expand the teams technical knowledge and expertise
• Use your creative engineering skills to solve complex problems and requirements
• Demonstrate your passion for elegance and efficiency in software engineering
• Producing high-quality code through strong testing practices and attention to detail
• Guide and assist current team of developers to understand libraries

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Java, Spring and REST API development experience
• Experience building UI in Angular, React, or Ember (preferably both)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development principles
• Well versed in using Git as source control and using CI (Continuous Integration) tools to manage builds and deployments
• Experience developing cloud native applications on a major public cloud platform: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience developing microservices-based architectures including distributed messaging patterns is a plus
• Prior consulting experience, consultative personality, and a desire to collaborate
• A love for writing code and learning new disciplines to constantly hone your craft as an Engineer

Preferences:

• Custom Application Development: Java with Spring/Spring Boot
• Front End/UI technologies and Frameworks: JavaScript: Angular, React, Ember; JSON, XML, HTML, CSS
• Data Services: Hadoop, Spark, Storm, Kafka, Hive, Elasticsearch
• Cloud Services: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
