Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data and Reporting Analyst on a small team that is defining how we use analytics to transform customer experiences, accelerate business growth, optimize ROI, and improve our clients Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Reports to: VP of Product Management
Travel Required: Less than 5% to Client locations
Responsibilities:
- Lead the data strategy and measurement planning; provide guidance on what data to capture, how to map data needs to business questions, and ensure tagging is optimized to provide visibility into campaign results and the value of new product features.
- Play a leading role in the design and implementation of the reporting function: define key performance metrics for digital marketing campaigns, establish benchmarks, and design a reporting template.
- Generate detailed weekly reports in Excel.
- Compile data from various sources (systems of record, app analytics, TE2s messaging platform, e-commerce systems, and third-party surveys).
- Generate compelling weekly and biweekly reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders that highlight the effectiveness of campaigns and provide optimization recommendations.
- Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data validation, and see issues to resolution.
- Ensure site tagging is optimized to provide crystal-clear visibility into the impact and value of new features, initiatives and product releases.
- Use campaign and analytics data to develop an understanding of customer behavior by segment.
- Build models that lead to constantly improving insights and business understanding.
- Generate insights beyond the scope of supporting reactive requests.
- Help establish TE2s knowledge base by identifying case study topics and research opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of work experience in turning digital marketing results and app analytics into insightful reports and presentations.
- Strong qualitative skills with ability to demonstrate quality data organization and analysis techniques.
- Project Management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and Excel. Experience with App Annie and Kibana (preferred).
- Experience with Python and R to analyze and solve complex business problems (preferred).
- Experience creating app analytics measurement plans (preferred).
- BS or MS in a quantitative field of study (preferred).
