We are looking for an engineer to build products for Audibles Enterprise Business portfolio. Enterprise Business is responsible for growing our offering to organizations whether they be large multinational corporations or small startups. We quickly define and implement products to test their business thesis and build lasting products. We are in the early stages of developing this product and are looking for someone who will join our diverse team of developers to build and launch products under this new initiative. This is an opportunity to have end-to-end ownership of a software product and apply your ideas from inception to product launch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Set the technical direction and strategy within the team and strategize to influence technology across Audible and beyond.
· Lead significant technical initiatives involving cross-functional teams
· Developing solutions for web and services: Envisioning, designing, creating, and supporting our solutions that operate with a high degree of operational excellence
· Partner with a cross-functional teams to imagine, design, develop, test, and launch software that wows our community and inspires our peers
· Be willing to explore technical needs and bring problems AND solutions to the table
· Constantly strive to raise the bar on engineering excellence
· Lead the way - staying up to date with tools, trends, technologies and frameworks both industry-wide and within Amazon and then sharing that knowledge in a meaningful way with the community
· Mentor and lead developers by cultivating curiosity and deep technical understanding
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
· 5+ years experience in software engineering.
· Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices including coding standards, source code management & build processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven Java development skills building large scale web applications.
· Knowledge of Spring MVC, SOA, and automated testing.
· Well-rounded engineering skills; full-stack development experienceweb & services - If you've built something in your spare time send us the link, we'd love to hear about it.
· Strong problem-solving skillsadaptable, proactive and accountable.
· High performance standardsjust-enough documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, continuous integration & deployment, and a preference for agile methods.
