Hourly / Salary: BOE + 10% bonus + matching 401K + 3 weeks vacation

JOB SUMMARY
GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a Senior SQL Database Developer for a direct hire opportunity located in downtown Dallas, TX. The Senior Database Developer will create, manipulate, access, and deliver data in the most efficient ways possible. Create processes to load, transform, and deliver data to business users, end-customers, 3rd-party vendors, and application developers. Senior Database Developer will build insightful data models, reports, analytics and dashboards to help meet business initiatives and make decisions. The Senior Database Developer should have extensive expertise in RDBMS, database concepts, and data profiling techniques, and implement solutions to improve performance and efficiency across systems, APIs, and batch processing.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
5-10+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- Senior/expert SQL database development
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
- RDBMS development experience and ETL
- Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) at least 2 years experience
- Scripting for automation (Python, Linux, PowerShell)
- NoSQL technologies (preferably MongoDB)
- Data Visualization/Self-Service Analytics
PREFERRED (but not required)
- Financial services industry experience
