Position Title: Application Developer

Technologies/Skills

1. Classic ASP and ASP.NET development

Typical Day to Day:

They have a proprietary application written in class asp and asp.net on a SQL Server back-end. The app tracks information on the individuals they serve - demographic, significant changes in status, medical updates, billing info. They will receive HIPAA compliance training (healthcare background not necessary). This application is currently being supported by a 3rd party offshore development group. They want a "client-facing" (someone with good communication) and onsite developer to come in to make enhancements and modifications to this application. Need someone who has some SQL experience/database work (create or modifying a table). This is all middle and back-end development.

Business stakeholders they would be working with: Revenue Cycle Manager, Chief Operations Officer, VP Operations, Controller, Accounting Manager, Billing Team and End Users.

Company Description:

Provides residential services and support for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. They have about 50 people in their Austin location. 3 people in IT.

Specific Position Details

Team Size/Dynamic: 3 people. 2 Systems Administrators and IT Director.

Why is position open: They have a 3rd party offshore development group in India providing development and support and they aren't happy with the quality of work/interaction with the business.

• Experience with legacy ASP.net and classic ASP custom applications
• Database design, development, and data warehousing utilizing SQL. Migrate, convert, import / export data to and from SQL databases.
• Strong business knowledge and interpersonal skills.
