Mid ASP.NET Developer
Our client in the Atlanta (Galleria) area is looking for an ASP.NET Web Developer to develop, support, improve, and grow their cloud-based software as a service. For this position, you must be able to creatively solve development issues and bugs while adhering to lean development principles.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining our customer facing web applications
- Provide UI/Web solutions for internal teams and tools
- Diagnose, research, and remedy complex issues around these applications
- Able to successfully work in a fast-paced, multi-directional, Agile environment with an emphasis on SCRUM practices, procedures and beliefs
- Able to proactively communicate with members of the SCRUM team
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies, tooling, and development strategies
- Thoroughly test features and bug fixes before handoff to QA
- Able to review specifications, technical designs, and mockups to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Ensure that code is regression free, properly documented, and unit tested
- Able to estimate, prioritize, and plan development activities
- Driven to work independently and able to self-organize
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS experience
- 1-3 years of version control systems experience
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Proficiency in writing C# and JavaScript
- Proficiency building custom controls using HTML/JS/CSS
- Experience consuming web services
- Able to learn new technologies quickly and take on research opportunities independently
- Ability to work within a Scrum team structure and participate in associated activities
