Your role & work environment
As a Dev Engineer, you will be part of a team within the tribe Cash & Liquidity Management.
Within this tribe you will support the cash management products to our clients. Your team will work following Agile methodologies and best practices.
Your key responsibilities
- Build a deep knowledge of the squads' applications and platform components
- Develop applications or REST Open API in Java
- Implement applications using Apache Camel, Springboot and Openshift
- Help with the technical architecture and implementation
- Help in Monitoring of the applications
- Contribute to the different Agile ceremonies

As a Dev Engineer you will also need to:
- be experienced in Agile and Continuous Delivery practices
- be pro-active, assertive and a good communicator
- have an excellent written and spoken knowledge of English
(knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset)
- have a good understanding of Java 8 and Spring Boot
- have a good understanding of Microservices concept
- have good understanding OAUTH 2.0 concept
- have a good understanding of Apache Camel
- write unit tests as a second nature
- have a good understanding BDD tests with Cucumber/Karate.
- your know your way around in openAPI/Swagger
- Deploying and running the application on ING environments and experience of working with industry leading CD/CI tools like Jenkins, Ansible , TFS.
- Containerization approach for application deployment and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift.
- Knowledge of Monitoring tools like Prometheus.
- Knowledge on Centralized logging tools like ELK.
- Have experience in performance testing and experienced in Gatling/Jmeter.
- Have worked on Linux/Unix environments and understanding of Shell scripting and Cron tab.
