- Drive continuous innovation by maintaining knowledge of technology trends in the marketplace to be able to recommend innovative solutions to add business value.
- Familiarity with industry changes in technology standards, information management, infrastructure standards, methods and emerging 3rd party software in order to advise on technology and leverage industry best practice in the design and support of Allscripts software products
- Work with various teams to ensure understanding of hosting architecture infrastructure requirements and to gain alignment on proposed technology solutions for public and private cloud deployments
- Possesses expert-level technical and analytical skills required to diagnose, isolate and resolve problems
- Leader of Tier 3 and 4 problem management teams and advanced Triage teams.
- Design end-to-end systems composed of server hardware, OS, software, advanced networking and storage to provide robust infrastructure architecture
- Bachelor's Degree with a major in Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS or related
- 7+ years of related experience
- Strong working experience with infrastructure products (VMware, Zerto, Veeam, MS Server edition, MS-SQL, Azure, etc.)
- Strong working experience with storage infrastructure products (EMC, Pure, and Netapp)
- Work with Hosting Operations to establish operational strategies; ensures strategies are in line with the organizations goals including service quality initiatives. Manage the department with data and metric driven decisions
- Manage a mix of long term projects, short term service requests, and daily emergencies, with a high degree of flexibility and effective delegation
- Provide input in the drive for constantly improving the scalability, extensibility, interoperability, reliability, availability and performance of Allscripts software products.
- Plan, prepare, participate and/or lead infrastructure architecture reviews
- Possess strong leadership skills and proven ability to communicate and collaborate with different audiences representing various technical disciplines
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Participate in the definition and documentation of architecture standards and best practices

- Core hours are based on local time zone, but willing to be flexible in work schedule to accomodate various time zones of a global organization
