Responsibilities

·       B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree with 7+ years of experience in relational database development

·       Must demonstrate a clear understanding of the logical and physical database design and data normalization concepts

·       7+ yrs. experience working with ETL tools, SQL, and NoSQL

·       Experience writing database scripts

·       Strong application analysis, design and implementation skills

·       Excellent written and communication skills

·       Ability to work with very little supervision

·       Analysis of external data sources and Data Migration design

·       Experience working with multiple databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, etc.)

·       Developing scripts to extract data from batched file

·       Analysis of ETL transformations and development of Data Quality metrics

·       Must have a team-based attitude and be skilled at building constructive and effective relationships

·       Experience with software development life cycle and agile processes

·       Strong technical documentation skills

·       Research, propose, and develop new features for both new and existing ETL processes, data flows and ETL tools

·       Participate in code review and standards development

·       Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions

·       Strong work ethic and drive for results

• 3+ yrs. experience in an Oracle development environment
• Working knowledge of Oracle 12c added capabilities and functionality
• 3+ years working with PL/SQL
• 3+ years of SQL and SQL Tuning experience
