Job Summary:
Responsible for leading a test team. This individual collaborates with members on cross functional teams to design, innovate, and create consistent testing strategies to define and unify best practice validation techniques. This position is a chance to interact with many highly collaborative agile teams breaking new ground in providing health and wellness solutions to the world.
An ideal candidate is comfortable testing any platform (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux) and is familiar with validating SaaS solutions. Strong communication and technical skills are required as well as knowledge in working with automation frameworks, APIs, mobile devices, relational and document databases. The candidate should be familiar with front-end and back-end development in a services-based environment and comfortable translating business requirements into well-defined test cases.

Essential Functions:
Manage automated test strategy for mobile, API, and application testing
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for system Integration, Functional, and Regression testing
Develop test scripts and test software, supporting unit tests, integration test and regression tests
Institute automated processes, performance metrics, and visualization tools for higher quality products in a more timely fashion.
Desire for automation throughout the development life cycle
Work closely with other departments to ensure all relevant and agreed upon aspects of the application communicate efficiently
Provide scope, resource and time estimates for projects presented for development
Design and coordinate the test environment prior to testing; ensuring compatibility with the Production environment
Document test results and provide test progress/reports that will be used in assessing the completeness of the development effort
Work closely with systems engineering departments to ensure all relevant and agreed upon aspects of the application are tested
Provide scope, resource and time estimates for projects presented for testing and analysis
Manage the various capital resources available in the QA laboratory; ensuring testing needs are met with the smallest amount of conflict

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field
RESTful interface design and comprehension
10+ years experience using testing Frameworks
8+ years experience with cloud-based SaaS solutions
8+ years experience with mobile application validation
Knowledge and experience working in the cloud (Specifically using AWS)
Knowledge and experience with Agile development practices
Experience and desire to work in a test driven development environment moving toward continuous deployment
Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to distill complex problems down to easy to understand, consumable chunks

Specific Skills/Attributes:
Experience implementing test solutions from scratch without leveraging an existing systems
Experience in high-performance cloud application deployment
Knowledge and experience with Postman, Python, or Perl
Experience instituting test strategies into a continuous integration pipeline
Reasonable knowledge of GitHub and pull request concepts
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization strategies
Willingness/Desire to understand and leverage error logs
