Senior QA Automation Engineer at KleerMail® (Boston, MA)

THE OPPORTUNITY

KleerMail is looking for a experienced and talented Senior QA Automation engineer to contribute to the implementation of our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product offerings. Your primary focus will be leading our platform testing initiatives while working closely with both the front and back-end engineers to guide them on creating tests and implementing tests that meet our quality goals.

You be will working as part of a cross-functional Agile SCRUM team. Your responsibilities will include testing of our services, as well as building out our test automation infrastructure. You will participate in feature estimation, peer reviews of other developers code and ensuring that quality is top of mind across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Establish an Enterprise-Level QA Automation practice across the entire organization
• Collaborate with a talented team of engineers and product managers to support back end, infrastructure and analytics testing
• Design and develop tests for availability, reliability, performance, security, messaging, etc.
• Evaluate, design, and recommend tools and frameworks for improving test automation
• Identify bottlenecks, constraints and devise solutions to these problems
• Contribute in the architecting and implementation of cloud-based solutions
• Develop deep expertise in the product

Skills:

• Extensive experience in advanced automation and strong understanding of automation tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter, Watir, Mocha, RSpec, Capybara
• Knowledge and experience designing tests, defining test scope and identifying functional and non-functional testing
• Knowledge in developing automated test systems for transactional web applications in a CI/CD environment
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Experience with Ruby on Rails
