What you'll be doing:
- Working with external and internal team members to ensure accuracy of data transformation and mapping
- Checking mapping tables, API transmissions and data storage
- Writing Acceptance Tests and Execute manual test scripts
- Writing and execute automated test scripts
- Building automation frameworks as needed
- Documenting automation architecture and strategy
- Expanding developer test frameworks as needed
- Performing API testing
- Working closely with developers to write, verify, validate and close defects
- Attending and participate in Scrum and team meetings
Skills:
- Working experience with Quality Engineering team as QA Tester, including writing and executing test cases and tests scripts, performing automation and manual testing on multiple different browsers.
- 5 to 8 years of Quality Engineering or development experience
- Ability to modify, write and execute automated test scripting
- Responsible for setting scope and strategy for tests, both manual and automated including expanding development tests and test frameworks as needed.
- Proficient in executing complex test plans and test scripts.
- Experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst testing on database back end for SAAS applications.
- MySQL knowledge a must have, including experience writing, tuning and executing SQL statements against MySQL for backend data validation.
- Strong knowledge of SQA methodology and SDLC (software development life cycle).
- Experience testing e-commerce area of application including promotions and order fulfillment.
- Knowledge of “agile” development and delivery process method.
- Performance testing, Load testing, Security testing, functional testing skills
- Proficient with scripting and knowledgeable of Java and Python technology products
- Knowledge of different platforms as well as SAAS, RESTful and web-based integrations.
- Following all release processes and protocols
- Scrum/Agile Testing
Bonus points:
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE) certification a plus.
- Experience using automation tools such as Selenium IDE and RC
- 5 + years in Functional Automation – Selenium, QTP any commonly available tools
- Experience with bug tracking systems
- Experience with SCCS, especially Git
What we're looking for:
