ITG is looking for a highly-motivated, fast-paced Software Engineer to join our Market Data Services team.

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:
- Perform system modeling, simulation, and analysis in designing software programs and applications
- Work with market data vendor to design and implement Market Data feed handler
- Coordinate and work with other Market Data groups to solve highly technical and complex problems on multiple projects and provide consultative support to team members
- Collaborate with other technology leads to ensure a consistent design and compatibility with all interfacing products
- Perform maintenance on existing software products and document solutions
- Code, test, and debug new and existing software and develop enhancements to existing software per specifications
- Develop standard routines and utility programs and conduct software compatibility tests that resolve interface and system architecture problems
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:
- Minimal two years’ work experience on C++,
- Work experience in UNIX/Linux, SQL/Sybase, C#/.NET, Windows OS, multithreading and Networking Protocols Programming (UDP, TCP/IP)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes
- Proven technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate quantitative and conceptual topics
- Experience with Python, PERL, and Service Oriented Architectures a plus
- Strong analytical skills with ability to design at multiple product levels
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
