Responsibilities
- Lead a small agile team building OANDA's next-generation web-based trading platform
- Collaborate with product managers and user experience designers in defining new features and product offerings
- Influence technical direction, choosing the best tools and approaches for the job at hand
- Ensure delivery of a high-quality end product, that is usable, performant, and maintainable
- Mentor team members, helping them succeed as developers and grow their careers
You Will Excel Because of Your
- Keen interest in user-facing web application development
- Experience building complex single-page applications using modern JavaScript technologies (ES6, Promises, Frameworks such as React, Polymer, Redux)
- Familiarity with front-end performance optimization and cross-browser issues
- Attention to detail, and desire to provide clients with an outstanding end-user experience
- Ability to motivate and bring out the best in your team members
