Responsibilities and Job Duties

• 
  
• Work with TPM to design frontend web applications to support internal and 3^rdparty requests.
• 
  
• Build multiple applications written in a variety of technologies (React, Angular, ES5, ES6).
• 
  
• Implement prototype UI designs and wireframes into front-end code with React.
• 
  
• Create new ways to visualize and plot 2D and 3D data sets
• 
  
• Attend daily stand-ups led by TPM.
• 
  
• Write clean testable code.
• 
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 
  
• UI/UX design and development experience.
• 
  
• Computer Science or a related degree.
• 
  
• Development experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; experience in applications with back-end and/or database components.
• 
  
• Experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks like Angular, React/Redux, ES5, ES6.
• 
  
• Has hands-on ability to gather user requirements and design complete user experiences by iterating through candidate designs and solutions.
• 
  
• Experience with source control tools and unit test development.
• 
  
• Previous experience performing code reviews.
• 
  

Desired Experience:

• 
  
• Hands on experience working with browser visualization libraries such as D3.js, plotly.js and/or web.gl.
• 
  
• Ability to clearly and effectively present design ideas and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• 
  
• Unit testing with JEST or Enzyme.
• 
  
• Experience prototyping UI wireframes using tools such as Balsamiq.
•
