Project Execution for Blockchain Engineering at JP Morgan Chase (Jersey City, NJ)

As
an experienced professional in Project Execution, you thrive at managing
complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients,
employees and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong
grasp of the big-picture namely, how can technology help achieve business
goals as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources and
budgets, and build and incentivize high-performing teams. You'll work closely
with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects
and programs that are broadly applicable. Once you and your team establish a
roadmap, you'll play an integral role in ensuring that the project is running
on time, within budget and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including
risk and architecture. Just as importantly, you'll work with your team to set
goals, foster collaboration and promote the values, culture and brand of
JPMorgan Chase & Co

This
role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Drive strategic engagement with Blockchain use cases across different LOBs to guide them through business, technical and risk management approvals
• Lead project management activities to deliver Blockchain engineering initiatives, working with Build, Test, Product Management and Operate teams
• Lead release Management activities to deliver new product features / on-going enhancements on JPMC Blockchain platform(s)
• Lead client enablement activities related to onboarding and adoption of JPMC Blockchain platform(s)
• Drive program reporting and stakeholder communications 

Skills

 

• Experience in technology strategy consulting and delivering IT transformation programs in global businesses
• Experience with Blockchain and cloud technology in Financial Services
• Understanding of distributed ledger technology and Blockchain fundamentals
• Strong program and project management skills to plan and deliver to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills to present ideas to senior management & interact with both business and technology stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with stakeholder management and organizational change management
• Execution focused, action-oriented and pay attention to detail
• Able to act independently and take initiative but work equally well within a dynamic and fast paced team environment.
