DevOps Engineer at InMoment (Atlanta, GA)

InMoment is hiring a DevOps Engineer in our Atlanta office.

We are looking for an engineer to help support daily operations through the use of automation and helping build a DevOps culture with our engineers for a better all around software development and deployment experience.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2-3 years of DevOps experience.

A strong desire and aptitude for system automation defines success in this role. For us to satisfy our customers and continue our aggressive expansion plans, we must automate every part of our software development process. In this role, you'll help us achieve our automation goals, contributing hands-on and strategically.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be an integral part of our service, contributing to both design and day-to-day response.

• Develop and maintain solutions for highly resilient services and infrastructure.

• Implement automation to help deploy our services and maintain their operational health.

• Contribute to the understanding of how our services are being used and help plan the capacity needs for future growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  rience, including expertise in system installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting (Ubuntu / CentOS).

• ience with cloud based providers such as AWS. Exper

• ience with Kubernetes.

• Experience with web based API / restful services

• Experience with Configuration Management and infrastructure as code platforms (Chef / Puppet / Ansible / Terraform).

• Experience in TCP/IP related technologies

• Experience with at least one scripting language (Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, Javascript).

• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and documenting issues.

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics)

• 3+ year experience of running large scale customer facing services.

• Experience in Docker orchestration and management.

• Experience with implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in implementing, supporting and maintaining large-scale monitoring and alert systems. (Nagios and Opsview)

EXTRA POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience with securing customer facing infrastructure and environments.

• Experience with Elasticsearch.

• Experience with Kafka.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo

• Basic Windows administration
