THE ROLE:
As a Senior Full Stack Developer and Tech Lead this is your opportunity to:
-Use your proven technical leadership skills to solve interesting problems with robust, highly scalable and high-performance web applications.
-Drive architectural decisions and platform strategy staying informed on the latest technology and approach.
-Maintain alignment with architectural strategy on both front and back end
-Ensure highly available and scalable back end
-Develop and maintain software development schedules.
-Coach and mentor your teammates
YOU MUST HAVE:
-A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a software development role.
-At least 2 years in technical leadership role on a Scrum team.
HIGHLY DESIREABLE:
-1 year experience with containerizing applications with Docker and orchestration / management with Kubernetes.
-Strong CI/CD and SDLC Focus
-Development experience and solid working knowledge of TypeScript
-Experience with Node.js
-Working expertise with front end layout with HTML, CSS
-Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
-Experience with Unit Testing and technologies such as jest, jasmine etc.
-Experience with software versioning systems using git, GitHub/BitBucket experience a plus.
-Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
-Good understanding of single page applications and asynchronous request handling, partial page updates etc.
-Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong debugging skills.
-Experience in design of enterprise level architecture.
-Strong testing culture, unit testing and automated system testing
-Knowledge of web service technologies such as REST and JSON
-Experience deploying applications in Azure and AWS cloud platforms
-Knowledge of Internet protocols (HTTP(S), TCP, UDP)
-Experience with streaming video technologies a plus
-Database experience (Relational and Non-relational)
-Security protocols and security best practices for web services
