What You'll Do
- Have end-to-end responsibility for leading projects focused on extracting, merging, analyzing, processing and managing large sets of data across multiple, disparate databases
- Work independently to define requirements, create process, and build out analytics plans
- Collaborate with stakeholders from multiple business units to define requirements and generate reports
- Identify and suggest novel areas of future work for themselves or the team
- Work with Product Owners and Business Owners to go through data sets and find issues and patterns
- Report on data (via various mechanisms: SQL reports, CSV / Excel extracts, PowerBI)
- Generate ad hoc reports for multiple business units
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience processing structured and unstructured data
- Expertise in SQL scripting
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
- Experience with open source relational databases (MySQL preferred)
- Experience building reports and/or dashboards via tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
- Experience with Web Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, etc.) preferred
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) preferred
- Strong communication skills and competency in interacting with leadership on a regular basis
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to detect and resolve data/analytics quality issues
