The HT Group has partnered with a healthcare technology firm to seek the services of a Senior SAS Consultant for a 3 months contract opportunity in the Domain area of North Austin.
Due a recent product acquisition, our client needs a SAS expert to troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues and maintain SAS while moving data from the acquired SAS/Oracle system to their Azure data lakes.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues with currently imbedded reports
- Develop API calls for complex single reports
- ETL from acquired SAS/Oracle environment to our clients Azure data lakes
- Maintain stabilization of SAS through the completion of the ETL process
Skills:
- Strong SAS programming, reporting and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to investigate SAS data, without previous documentation, to find and correct reporting errors
- Ability to review and determine which elements are and are not required to be written in SAS
- Strong ETL, data querying and data modeling skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with Oracle databases and Azure data lakes preferred
- Experience with Simba drivers a plus
