IT Systems Engineer, Mid
Key Role
Assist with IT systems design and analysis, Cybersecurity tool analysis, system and network administration, and systems engineering support for the development of capabilities and sustainment of a DoD enterprise network environment. Leverage subject matter expertise in enterprise IT design based on Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012, Oracle, or Linux and UNIX. Troubleshoot client network accessibility, including LAN and WAN and Internet problems through proxy servers and firewalls using basic tools. Author engineering documentation and leverage expertise in the Windows registry, VBScript, and other advanced Microsoft administration concepts to engineer automated security configuration solutions. This position is located in San Diego, CA.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with computer analysis or systems administration
  • 2+ years of experience with mid- to enterprise-scale networks
  • Experience with installing, troubleshooting, and documenting servers or networks
  • Experience with applying STIGs
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Security+ Certification and MCSA or MCSE Windows Server 2012 or 2016 Certification
Additional Qualifications
  • BA or BS degree in CS or Engineering
  • IAT Level II Certification with OS
Clearance
