Position Overview:
The position has full responsibility of Carousels Southwest Sales team revenue and quota attainment. This responsibility includes end to end management and oversight for:
- Regional Sales team (and dotted line of Engineers) that cover the Texas region which has responsibility for our revenues in each of our business units which are UC, Data, Visual Communication, Cloud and Managed services.
- This position works directly with the CRO and the Senior Leadership team in developing strategy for our Southwest and National footprint. Strategies include our go to market with clients, partners and our Inside Sales program.
- Ownership of Southwest Sales quota; develop, drive and track teams attainment throughout the year and have accountability of the revenue. This position requires 70% travel between the office and partner requirements.
- Development of sales plans for new and expanding offices and white spaces. Also, to develop our heat maps of our current partners and develop plans to build our strategic relationships within existing clients.
- This position will be responsible for meeting with our top clients and potential clients in region and to further strengthen our relationships.
- Financial performance of each region which will work with the CRO on resources needed to support growth and the client.
- Will be responsible for funnel management and building this to align with the expected revenues. Focus on the adoption of our cloud strategies. Will have a good understanding of our wins and losses and will be involved in our strategic opportunities.
- Will be responsible for recruiting sales professionals to augment our sales teams.
- Staying abreast of changes in the data networking, security, wireless, UC, Visual Communication , and managed services industry be the subject matter expert and thought leader for our sales force and customers.
- Be a strong sales leader that is able to teach and lead multiple sales skill sets.
- Strong Communication skills and the ability to work internally to achieve Company goals.
Other required Knowledge and Experience:
- Deep knowledge and affinity for all forms of our technology platforms specific experience related to top partners Juniper, HP, Cisco, Extreme, Microsoft, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Polycom, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in interacting with SVP and C- level executives across the business
- A unique driver of business and people
- Bachelors degree with a Business focus required
- Minimum of 10-15 years relevant industry and Senior Leadership experience
- Strong work ethic, a sense of business urgency and the ability to work & communicate effectively with many departments.
