Position Summary
The Successful Solution Consultant (SC) provides expertise to Infor prospects and customers in support of Workforce Management (WFM) license revenue and customer success. The SC leads WFM solution presentations and demonstrations to target specific industries and micro verticals. The successful SC uncovers the strategic objectives and business opportunities with prospect stakeholders during discovery and understands the key metrics driving the Infor solution evaluation.
Develop customer relationships while owning the pre-sales activity working specifically with our Workforce Management software. Work closely with the sales organization to provide compelling presentations and demos while becoming the trusted advisor of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of effective WFM solution demonstrations to prospects and customers that positively influence license deal pursuits and customer success.
  • Lead Infor presentations that reinforce solution value at various audience levels, including executives, business users, and stakeholders.
  • Enhance the Solution Consulting community within Infor. Team work and continuous improvement are critical to the success of Solution Consulting. It is incumbent on every SC to contribute to the knowledge and content for the collective team.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and similar requests from prospects
  • Work with account executives on sales opportunities, including:
  • Defining the solution scope
  • Formulating the account strategy
  • Jointly preparing for prospect interactions
  • Participating in prospect-facing activities such as discovery calls, solution demos etc.
  • With the overall Solution Consulting team, participate in shared activities such as marketing events, Inforum, maintaining RFP response repositories, presentation collateral, and demo content.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales / solution consulting role
  • Experience in Workforce Management (WFM), both from a domain perspective and in regards to enterprise software solutions
  • Deep experience in at least one industry with exposure to other industries
  • Experience configuring enterprise-level software applications as preparation for sales demos
  • Strong presentation skills in a software demo/pre-sales environment
  • Fluent in English and able to present confidently in English
  • Social personality with excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and conversational skills; positive in learning
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders at every level of the organization
  • Eager and motivated to learn new software solutions and how various software solutions integrate with each other for total solution package. Interoperability.
  • Organized and proficient at multi-tasking across customer engagements, internal mandates, and RFPs without task-level supervision.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, though more typically around 50%.
  • Bonus for candidates with relevant professional experience as employee in the target industries (retail, hospitality, manufacturing, general industry)
  • Bonus for candidates with BI and analytics skills or experience
  • Ability to present in another language in addition to English
  • Previous exposure to HCM in addition to WFM
  • IT technical skills (e.g. SQL, HTML/JavaScript, Scripting)
