Java Architect at Ciber Global (Dallas, TX)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Technical Leadership in Java and AWS technologies.
• Ensuring the solution architecture for product and platform development.
• Modeling complex solutions with a view to the implementation of product integration.
• Responsible for the solution architecture as well as for the selection of technologies.
• Architecture solutions in Spring Framework.
• Architecture CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Jira and Test Framework.
• Create technical documents like architecture views, technology architecture blueprints and design specifications.
• Design applications in Micro Services, Web Services, SOAP and XML Services.
• Work on different architecture patterns, frameworks, application products and tools of J2EE (scripts/queries, batch jobs, troubleshooting Java APIs/services, Java/J2EE, Spring
• Framework, Web Services (REST, XML, SOAP, JSON).
• Architect solutions using the Spring Framework, as well as first-hand experience in the coordination of a team.
• Setting up Alerts and various Monitoring tools in AWS.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science from a good school, with GPA of 3.5 or above.
  AWS Certification plus.
• Any industry standard professional certification related to Java technologies will be a plus
• Minimum 15 years of IT experience and 8 years of professional experience in the design of software architectures.
• Required Skills: Spring technologies /Java, Web technologies, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Bootstrap / Angular a plus. Web Services, including RESTful APIs, JPA/Hibernate, Oracle (PL/SQL),
  Tomcat server
• Experience in UI technologies include: JavaScript, React, Angular 2.0, Webpack, ES5/ES6, HTML5/CSS3.
• Experience leading medium to large scale high performance teams that deliver highly complex functionality.
• Employee coaching, leadership of development teams and participation in the definition of technological offer.
• Very good knowledge of standards and methods of software architecture design as well as of Java and AWS.
• Disciplined organized professional.
