Our primary applications; the TMS® and Customs Management® are used to plan, execute, track and settle billions of dollars of transportation movements every year.
This role allows for full remote work
Required Skills / Experience:
- Strong working knowledge in Java (we are a Java shop)
- Understanding and experience with a diverse set of web technologies
- In-depth knowledge and demonstrated use of relational database systems
- Ability to mentor small teams in implementation of new features
- Capable of identifying risks and recommending resolutions and timelines
- Leverages software design principles to suggests new software architecture and re-designs
Preferred Skills:
- Experienced in implementing standard security protocols and practices
- Can anticipate potential performance issues
- Exposure to React, Redux, Angular, XML, REST, or Amazon AWS
- Familiarity with tools such as Eclipse, Webstorm, Git, Gradle
- Writes smokin fast code
