Lake Superior Consulting a division of Shawcor is adding a Senior Developer to the Data Solutions team in Houston, Texas.
The Senior Developer will be responsible for new development and maintenance of existing web applications. The work environment is fast paced. Planning and daily tasks revolve around an agile environment. Our tech stack contains but is not limited to C#, Python, Typescript, Angular 2+, ESRI ArcGIS JS APIs, and ASP.NET Core.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead our back-end devel
opment process - >

Work within a small team, assisting junior developers and performing code reviews

Familiarity with modern front-end development frameworks and patterns

Learn new technologies and keep abreast of changes in existing technologies

Work with test and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the software life cycle
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5 years of d
evelopment experience - >

B.S. in Computer Science preferred

Highly experienced with .NET Framework 4.5 or higher, C#, ASP.NET, MVC

Highly experienced with JavaScript, Angular 2+, HTML, and CSS

Experienced with REST APIs

Experience with Python development preferred

Understanding of object oriented and functional development concepts

Experience with implementing design patterns preferred

Strong communication skills, both oral and written
