Looking for Sr. Oracle Application SQL Tuning / DBA with strong background in application development database support. He / She will work with a team of DBAs responsible for supporting our database infrastructure 24x7. The position is highly technical in nature, requires excellent technical skills in a variety of competencies, and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies. This is a senior level technical contributor who is able to perform all aspects of complex application query optimization, tuning and some database management in a multi-platform enterprise scale environment.

- Minimum 10 years of experience with combination of Oracle Database Administration, Oracle database development, and software development in Linux Environment
- Strong knowledge in database problem identification, problem diagnosis and resolution
- Experience in data modeling and data relationship analysis for the large scale of business applications
- Hands-on skills on Oracle High Availability and Disaster Recovery techniques such as RAC, Data Guard
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Oracle database administration
- Experience with PL/SQL, Java or other object-oriented languages
- Highly organized, ability to multitask and manage projects effectively
- Ability to strategically organize and plan enterprise scale solutions to meet the business needs
- Ability to handle project execution from vision through implementation
- Ability to collaborate with business users and to develop business knowledge and acumen
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and persuade to all levels of management
- Diverse level of knowledge with industry standard server hardware, operating systems, storage, virtualization and networking technologies
