We need someone with professional, hands-on experience in developing high trafficked Web based applications in a fast paced, business changing environment. As a Frontend Software Engineer you will be responsible for building front-end applications using the modern JavaScript technologies and libraries for desktop and mobile to develop fast, stable, and reliable front-end Web sites and software that is modular, scalable, well-tested and optimized for user experience. You will be responsible for working with technical and non-technical staff to translate business requirements into technical requirements for execution. You will participate and give feedback in design and code reviews with other developers. Acting as part of the third level support team, working with first and second level support to resolve problems and perform root-cause analysis will also be a part of your duties.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality code and improving automated test coverage
- Analyzing technical challenges encountered by the team and suggesting viable solutions
- Providing support for less experienced engineers
- Keeping up to date with modern web technologies and sharing the knowledge with other team members
Your profile:
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience in building and delivering front-end solutions with JavaScript, HTML(5), CSS(3) and familiarity with related frameworks/libraries
- Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent professional experience combined with a Bachelor’s degree
- Practical knowledge of Sass / Less
- Ability to write responsive CSS and HTML
- Curiosity, desire to learn and ambition to quickly become a self-reliant, top-notch software engineer
- Understanding of browser resource management
- Good command of English (we work directly with colleagues around the World)
