As part of the API Catalog Group in the Software Services Enablement Department the successful candidate will be responsible for advancing DevOps within an energetic and dynamic engineering team delivering new products and stable services to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Guarantee security and availability for millions of users on global cloud and data center deployments
Enhance operations quality, standardization (tools, processes) and automation
Communicate with development teams, handling incidents and new deployments
Refine on premise, cloud and service architecture, process and automation
Highly motivated professional with interpersonal skills to ease communication with our global team
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
At least 1 year of experience working in and/or leading a DevOps team
Experience in managing a variety of Linux OS
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and other containerized platform technologies
Experience with either Jenkins (preferred), Bamboo or other CI tools
Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Bitbucket, Github, etc
Experience with Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud
Experience in scripting languages (Javascript, Python, PHP, Ruby, etc)
Business level English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SRE concepts, architectural design, advanced monitoring
Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, Spark, MongoDB, HBase, Kafka
Experience to with Agile delivery and DevOps style of operation (high level of automation, infrastructure as code)- Experience with multiple monitoring technologies, such as Elastic Search, Kibana, Datadog, Grafana, etc
- Familiarity with network security management, firewalls, VPN, VNet segregation, RBAC, load balancers, etc
