Position Description
As an Azure Solution Architect, you will work with clients to the design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade solutions leveraging the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform. This role requires strong technical skills using Azure products and the ability to technically lead customer engagements. The ideal candidate will have experience developing PaaS- (Platform as a Service) and IaaS- (Infrastructure as a Service) based solutions. Experience with developing IoT (Internet of Things) solutions using Azure services is a plus.
Position Requirements:
- More than 5 years of experience architecting solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
- Knowledge of developing solutions with the Azure App Service (Web Apps, API Apps, Logic Apps, Mobile Apps)
- Incorporating Azure Application Insights in solutions
- Experience leveraging Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity management
- The ability to engage in senior level business and technology discussions regarding Digital Transformation, solution business value, and end-to-end architecture
- Experience using the various Azure Storage technologies (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Tables)
- The technical knowledge to lead customers in architecting, planning, developing, testing, and deploying Azure-based solutions
- Experience integrating with customer solutions hosted on non-Microsoft platforms
Position Preferences:
- Experience with the Azure Service Fabric
- A strong grasp of Azure Networking solutions (Virtual Network, Site to Site VPN, ExpressRoute)
- Experience with Azure Analytic tools (Data Lake, HDInsight, Machine Learning, Stream Analytics)
- A strong understanding of the IoT Suite and its various components (IoT Hub, Event Hub, Stream Analytics, Machine Learning, Notification Hub)
Qualifications:
- Must possess exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Highly motivated individual with strong sense of ownership
- Must be proactive with solid organizational and time management skills
- Good written and verbal skills
