We, the anynines team of the Avarteq GmbH, are looking for you, a DevOps or System Engineer, to support us in the full automation of the software world.
With anynines we have established a brand which has specialized in Consulting, Training & Operations as well as in the development of Data Services, a Service Framework and miscellaneous solutions concerning modern Platform as a service (PaaS).
The team and projects
The team consists of colleagues with backgrounds in different schools of software development and/or operations. Our projects include operations and consulting for Cloud Foundry platforms of varying sizes and the clients are mostly large German companies in varying industries.
The role
The role covers different aspects, e.g. Operations and Support (T1, T2) with 24/7 support (on-call), on-site and remote Consulting (e.g. helping the customer make architectural decisions, initial set up of new environments), technical documentation in the form of runbooks/operational handbooks, as well as the training of customer operations teams.
Your core tasks
- Construction and operation of highly automated Platform as a Service solutions
- Working with Open Source Software
- Implementation and maintenance of system automation
- Operating PaaS environments for our customers
- Customer consulting regarding best practices in Cloud environments
What you can contribute
- University degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge
- Knowledge in the area of Cloud Operations
- Basic understanding of Cloud Infrastructures and Distributed Systems
- Experience with system automation
- Advanced German and English skills
- Willingness to travel and a strong customer and service orientation
