Key Accountabilities
The Software Developer will assist in the design, development, maintenance, and improvement of an Entity Resolution System serving development teams across the organization. The main duties will include: building, maintaining, and deploying a custom entity resolution system spanning hundreds of different data sources and billions of records and will also be responsible for maintenance and implementation of a knowledge based graph.
Must Have Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience with building enterprise application Java development
- Experience with the full SDLC
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with Git
- Experience developing applications that run on Cloud Computing Platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
Other Requirements/Nice to Have Experience
- Post-secondary education in Computer Sci. or Computer Eng.
- Experience with Scala/play framework would be a plus. Preference given to those with Scala experience.
- Exposure and experience with big data/machine learning application development.
- AWS EC2, Apache Spark would be an asset.
- Docker is a plus.
- Experience with graph databases.
- Experience with full text search (elastic search, lucene) would be an asset.
