Our client, located in sunny Miami, Florida is one of the world's largest and recognizable brands, an icon in their respective industry. At the present time, they are going thru a huge digital transformation to better serve their customer base taking full advantage of emerging technology in Machine Learning, AI, Big Data, etc.
 
In order to do so, the company has segregated a separate IT division, "Consumer Technology with the objective to refine and deliver a robust and awesome digital consumer experience.

The Need:
 
Multiple Rock Star Software Engineers to help build out a new digital platform to support literally millions of the firm's users. This new, highly nimble and agile owns multiple widely used core platform technologies.
 

Day to Day

• Work closely with the Product group while designing, developing and implementing high performance mobile and web products + services for millions of global users
• Work closely with a highly collaborative team maintaining and delivering best practices and engineering excellence as part of a positive and cohesive team
• Provide detailed and constructive design and code reviews to teammates on their code
• Participate in the design and implementation of innovative next generation systems

 

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 5+ years of experience designing, engineering and delivering systems for consumer facing products and services
• Cloud - AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or other cloud offerings
• Node React and/or Python (but we are open-minded about specifics)
• Experience with both functional and object-oriented programming patterns
• SQL and NoSQL database technologies and their tradeoffs in practice
