As an IT Operations Analyst - Desktop Support, you can expect to:
- Respond directly to support issues and service requests
- Interface with other team members to insure resolution of incidents in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining constant communication on open service items
- Order, process, configure, deploy, manage and maintain client inventory
- Carry out hardware installations/deployments including workstations, laptops and printers
- Carry out software installations/deployments
- Provide desktop and infrastructure support as needed
- Assist in identifying trends in ongoing hardware, software or system problems
- Work with carriers, service providers and vendors to correct faults
- Call software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products
- Develop, manage and maintain vendor relationships
- Plan, execute and support office moves
- Provide input/assistance where necessary for Merger and Acquisition activities
- Develop and maintain support and operational processes
- Configure and maintain management and monitoring systems
- Support O&G field personnel including those on drilling rigs and in remote production
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of IT customer support experience
- Strong in Office 365 functionality and administration, including ADFS sync
- Strong in Active Directory setup and maintenance
- Strong in all major Microsoft Office product (Word, Power Point, Excel) and Microsoft Visio
- Must be based in Houston
